Challenge: The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) needed a comprehensive, user-friendly resource library to house and summarize technical materials from various sources. The challenge was to make complex, scientific content accessible to the average meat producer, ensuring clarity without compromising on accuracy. AMSA required a streamlined approach to manage the development and consistency of this large collection of resources.
Solution: AMSA partnered with Aloide to create a standardized process for compiling and summarizing the content for The Meat Locker library. Aloide assembled a specialized team, including:
- Creative Director: Coordinated between AMSA and Aloide, ensuring alignment and guiding the website creation process.
- Copywriter: Brought agricultural industry knowledge and SEO best practices to produce clear, effective summaries.
- Subject Matter Expert: Ensured technical accuracy in meat processing and livestock content.
The teams collaborated through shared spreadsheets, where AMSA provided resource links and raw content. Aloide developed branded templates for both the raw content and the website copy, using a batch approach (groups of five resources at a time) to maintain steady progress and streamline reviews.
Aloide also led AMSA through the website design process, creating over 100 resources for the library, designed custom icons for navigation and conducted in-person training and recorded tutorials so the AMSA team could continue updating and maintaining the site.
Outcome:
