STORYBOARDING & ANIMATION
Overview:
Farmers Business Network (FBN) partnered with Aloide to create a video that would promote their exciting new product, Sizzle™. With a short timeline and limited resources, FBN needed a compelling way to bring Sizzle to market, leveraging existing assets to showcase the product’s benefits. Our challenge was clear: to create an engaging, high-quality video without shooting new footage, while ensuring that the content aligned perfectly with the FBN bold, energetic style.
The Challenge:
Due to time constraints and the need to work with what was available, we had one primary asset—a static image of the Sizzle™ product. With no new footage available, we had to think outside the box to deliver a visually engaging and informative video.
FBN also wanted versatility in their video content, requesting both a long-form version to explain the product in detail and a short-form version for social media platforms. Ensuring brand consistency across these formats was key, as was developing content that would resonate with the FBN audience.
Our Solution:
Storyboarding for Clarify & Collaboration
To ensure we were aligned with the FBN team’s vision from the start, we developed a detailed storyboard. This allowed us to map out the entire video, including the creative transitions and animated effects, giving FBN a clear understanding of our plan. The storyboard facilitated seamless collaboration, enabling us to incorporate feedback early in the process and move into animation with confidence.
Maximizing Existing Assets:
With only a static image of the product at hand, the Aloide team got creative, using motion graphics and animation techniques to bring the Sizzle™ product to life. By incorporating dynamic visuals, we were able to highlight the product’s key features and benefits in a way that was visually appealing, even without new footage.
Stock Music & Voiceover Selection:
Sound was another essential element. We sourced five high-quality stock music tracks for FBN’s selection, ensuring the final track would align perfectly with the tone of the brand. Additionally, we collaborated with an established voiceover artist who was already familiar with the FBN brand, further ensuring that the voice matched the company’s existing identity and connected with their audience.
Long and Short-Form Videos:
Understanding the need for flexibility, we created two versions of the video. The long-form video gave an in-depth look at the new Sizzle™ product, explaining its features, benefits, and impact in greater detail. For social media, we developed a short-form video, offering a concise, punchy overview of the product, designed to capture attention quickly on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
The Results:
Despite the limitations on assets and time, we were able to produce high-quality, on-brand video content that met all of FBN’s goals. This project highlighted the importance of creativity and resourcefulness in video production. By leveraging existing assets, clear communication with the client, and strong creative solutions, we were able to help FBN launch Sizzle™ through engaging video content.
